Sad I have to leave a negative review, my husband and I have visited Veronica’s restaurant several times over the years anytime we visit the African market (2hrs drive). New place seems worse, difficult to find location. Customer service is lacking especially with the new set of people she has. Don’t go when hungry estimated wait time is about an hour. We are no longer crazy about the food, Would try out a different African restaurant next time. Veronica we love you and your food but you can do better.

The food is very tasty. You might have to wait a little bit on weekends. They serve Nigerian food. One meal is about $20 but I can eat the plate for 2 meals. It's worth exploring. I saw all nationalities go there and enjoy the different dishes.

So good! It's a private home so it's a little confusing coming in, but once you're in you get extremely good service and amazing food. To be fair, I've never had this style cuisine before, but it was delicious! I had a meat and rice dish and the flavors were perfectly matched. My friend was a big fan of the plantain dish. Our server told us that they get super busy at night, but they're only open Friday through Sunday! Great music, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

Really good food. It was my first time trying Ugandan food and I'm really impressed. The peanut sauce was amazing with plantains. The spice used for the beans was awesome as well.
